Simlambarasan is in high spirits, the reason is his upcoming film ‘Vaanam’. The actor who won the hearts of many with his mature performance in Gautham’s ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ will be seen in the lead role in ‘Vaanam’ after a hiatus. A song sequence for the film is being is pictured in Chennai. This song sees Anushka shake a leg with Simbu.

Reports suggest that a huge set has been erected lavishly by producer Ganesh for the song sequence. The song, a foot tapping number is shaping up at the AVM Studios. The lyrics of the song go like “No Money No Honey…” the choreographer for the song is Raju Sundaram who is also responsible for the tribal dance movements in ‘Endhiran’s “Kilimanjaro…” that features Superstar Rajinikanth with beauty queen Aishwarya Rai.

The lead actor Simbu is believed to have disclosed to media that the entire team of ‘Vaanam’ is having a great time shooting this song, and with the limelight on Simbu need we say more on how well the song will shape up? The song also sees comedian Santhanam and Ganesh too performing a jig.

‘Vaanam’ is directed by Krish and produced by ‘VTV’ Ganesh and R. Ganesh. Yuvan Shankar Raja has lent his musical touch to ‘Vaanam’ and the film is edited by Anthony Gonsalves. The film will be released by Cloud Nine Movies and will see a world wide release on April 9.
